Regulation on the Procedures and Principles Regarding the Safe Internet Service
The Regulation on the Procedures and Principles Regarding the Safe Internet Service, approved by the Decision of the Information Technologies and Communications Board dated 17.7.2026 and numbered 2026-K/BTHK-28.96, has entered into force upon its publication in the Official Gazette dated 29 July 2026 and numbered 142.
The said Regulation sets out the procedures and principles regarding the offering, implementation, modification and cancellation of the Family Package and Child Package options by communication providers to subscribers within the scope of the Safe Internet Service, to be applied upon the explicit request of subscribers, as well as the informing of subscribers, technical implementation principles, reporting and supervision.
The Regulation has been prepared on the basis of the "Cooperation Protocol on the Provision of Family and Child Packages within the Scope of the Safe Internet Service" dated 18.06.2026, signed with the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.
