Bürüncük Attends Holguín’s Meeting with the Technical Committee Co-Chairs

Our Chairman and Co-Chair of the Technical Committee on Broadcasting and Telecommunications, Kadri Bürüncük, attended the meeting held by María Ángela Holguín, Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary-General on Cyprus, with the co-chairs of the 13 Technical Committees.
María Ángela Holguín, Personal Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General on Cyprus, met with the co-chairs of the 13 Technical Committees operating on the island on 5 November 2026. Our Chairman, Kadri Bürüncük, Co-Chair of the Technical Committee on Broadcasting and Telecommunications, also attended the meeting.
The meeting highlighted the role of the Technical Committees in building trust and cooperation between the two communities and in addressing matters of common concern.
In this context, the Technical Committee on Broadcasting and Telecommunications, one of the 13 Technical Committees established in 2008, continues its work to strengthen cooperation between the two communities on the island-wide coordination of radio frequencies, the prevention of frequency interference and technical matters in the field of broadcasting.
