The Palo Alto Networks Technical Training Series, organised by the Entrepreneurial Information Technologies and Software Developers Association (GİTYAD) in cooperation with Palo Alto Networks and Ingram Micro and held for the first time in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), took place on 19–21 October 2026, hosted by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTHK).

The three-day programme covered firewall solutions, cloud-based security technologies and methods of protection against current cyber threats. Participants also carried out hands-on exercises on a range of cyber security solutions and worked through case studies based on real-world threat scenarios.

ICT professionals from the TRNC attended the training.

Designed for ICT professionals, the training series provided an exchange of knowledge on current technologies and protection methods in the field of cyber security.

Following the training, GİTYAD thanked BTHK and its Chairman, Kadri Bürüncük, and expressed its wish for continued cooperation between the two organisations. The Association stated that it will continue its work to contribute to the development of the ICT sector in Northern Cyprus and to increase the number of high-quality training opportunities available to professionals.
