Information Security Awareness Training Held for BTHK Staff

An Information Security Awareness Training was held for staff members at the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTHK). Information security plays a vital role in protecting an organisation's information and resources, ensuring that business processes are carried out securely and without interruption. The training, held on 13 August 2026, aimed to raise employees' awareness of information security and to support their compliance with security rules in their daily work processes.

Through these trainings, which have been organised at BTHK since 2018, the aim is to inform new employees about the Authority's information security practices and to keep existing employees' knowledge up to date. The training covered the fundamental principles of information security, employees' duties and responsibilities, and security risks that may be encountered in daily work processes.

It was noted that, as part of BTHK's information security efforts, the Authority has transitioned from the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard to the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard, and that its information security processes are carried out in line with the current standard.

It was emphasised that information security is a shared responsibility of all employees at BTHK, and that training, awareness-raising and drill activities will continue in order to keep awareness up to date.
